You were half right. The 94-96's arent v-tec, but the 97-01's arent either. Sounds like a good project to me though you can make your ls head V-TEC with just a couple simple steps addind the V-TEC solenoid and pretty much running the oil line to it..poof instant v-tec..its a little more complicated than that but not much. Good luck with the project

if your head says "vtec" its probably a vtec motor. ls integras were never vtec. fyi a ls/vtec motor is the non-vtec ls or b20/crv block you have with a b-series head on it. i.e. b16a,gsr, etc... noto be an ***, smack whoever told you that ls tegs are vtec. oh and do a search.

I just recently bought a 94 teggy LS and am personally going turbo with it. Just a lil setup to make it as fast as my R was. The LS' have a good comp. ratio for it, and from what ive seen they hold nicely.

personally I'd just get the R motor unless you want to have your car non-op for a good while.

R motors are kinda expensive....but it's all what he wants to do i guess. I loved my R but personally i think its gonna be a little more rewarding when i finish my LS..cause i kinda did it all myself. Just my 2 cents

If your going to go ls vtec I would just get a b16a or gsr head its a-lot cheaper than the r head and will still give you plenty of power

isnt the itr head the same as a b16 with different cams and a light port?

you may wanna explicitly specific what you mean by euro R

a integra type R from europe? or a accord euro R?

coz' a euro R motor is gonna need some fabrication to fit in a integra
