What shift knob do you use? (and why?)
I'm looking into either the ARC Ti, Muz, or Rick's shift **** and am running into conflicting information from other sources. The Muz and Rick's are countersunk, the ARC is not. Which one sits lowest? Any recommendations, opinions? Thanks!
stock 00-01' ****.. works for me.. if I had another car id probably use something similiar.. fits the palm of my hand perfectly..
only downside.. gets real cold and real hot.. oh well.. thats what the convertable mode vent is for...

(Figures.. Moyopoyo)... damn you.. you always have the goods!!!
I'm trying to find one that sits the lowest.... I might be wrong on this, but the threads on the Rick's go all the way in, right? So the ball sits lower than most. What about with the ARC?
Reason on why you chose ARC over Rick's or Muz?
thanks!

i'm only 18, and kinda short (5'5ish), so i'd say overall pretty small. i have a smaller hand than the average s2000 driver (i think) , and don't think the voodoo is very comfortable. i do like it a lot, and have owned one, but i prefer the ARC over it, 'cause i can hold it better.
if you're bigger though (around 6'ish?) go for the voodoo. it's a little more than the ARC if go for the titanium one.

I'm a tad taller than you. 5'9", but will that make a difference? I'm trying to find the shift **** that sits low. I think i need to read a bit more about the whole countersunk, not-countersunk and the difference. I know that ARC isn't, the Voodoo is.
Moyopoyo..how can you have such a sweet car and be 18?!?!?! When I was 18, I had a subaru station wagon

did you look at either the muz or arc when you got the voodoo countersunk? i'm still stuck and don't know which way to go.
also, some people have in their sig: ARC Ti (new version). What's the new version?

agreed it looks very nice. if i HAD to change, i would get the (integra in japan)RSX-R titanium shiftknob(6-spd with red lettering).

my '01 doesn't have the leather....just the plain shift ****. i've heard people rave about the voodoo ****, the arc ****, the door ****....etc..etc...anyway, you get the point. i happened to get a pretty good deal on the arc ti, and was wondering between the arc and the rick's voodoo ****...shorter shifts

I use the voodoo tit. cause it matches my 00 interior and it sit's an inch lower. I also like the fact that the shift boot meets the **** instead of seeing that ugly gap in between.

I use to think this same exact thing. Then I picked up a Voodoo coutersunk shift ****. Solid sphere of titanium. Sits about an inch lower, and makes a enormous difference with the shift action. The shape of the **** communicates to your hand so much better...

ITR knockoff ****.
I drove my friends s2k and loved the feel of the ****, however, OEM ***** like that ('titanium' OEM) are $$$ so I just went for the closest thing to it.
Edit: Didn't realize I was in the s2k forum til after the post. Yes it's been a long day. Cheers
