I've created a VHS video of rebuilding a 92 GSR tranny.
Covered:
JDM 98 LSD install, all the mods needed to drop it into US 93 GSR
Hybrid gearing installation: installed 4 and 5th 95 GSR
All the techniques you need to get the shim thickness right, not just based on HELMS, it's SPOON SORTRS techniques and techniques used by the pros.

I'm sure a lot of shops will be pissed for showing the stuff. Oh well, I think the task is easily done by an average dude providing they understand stuff... Why should we pay sooo much!

It took a lot of time to make this over the winter. I'm sure it'll clear a lot of questions people have. I still have to edit it though.

Hey I'm interested in your video. I wanna learn to rebuild a tranny. How much is it gonna cost?

 

I haven't set any prices but to get it all together, I had to buy special close-up lens and a character generator. I think $20 is fair.

 

I'll take one for $20 shipped. That way when I have some spare time, I can watch it and critique you on your style and performance on the tranny rebuild (since I've done a few rebuilds as well )
