How can you decipher which tranny? (ZC)

the intermediate shaft bolts to the engine and is not part of the tranny - visually, they look the same as all L3's - the ZC uses larger diameter axles where they go into the differential - take a HF, DX or Si axle and insert it into the tranny - if the axle splines fit it is not a ZC
