Default New integra owner, looking for parts.......

i have an 97 acura integra RS and im looking for good websites for the following parts:

PS: i owned a ford before so i know nothing about imports but i love it and want the best out of this car....

-Sparco big brake upgrade or similar
-suspension for lowering or performance gain
-i need some suggestions on exhaust upgrades
-front-end conversions if they make any for this type of vehicle!!

let me know all the websites that may help or i can buy parts from that will help the beauty of my car... thanks guys and i hope to make friends here or maybe be able to meet up to show off my car!!!

Buying some 17" Tenzo-r mean 6 rims in silver in the next few weeks, wish me luck on that. thanks again

welcome to the board and glad to hear that ur excited about ur teg. To answer ur questions... well all of those types of upgrades are available for the teg... but there is a really strong aftermarket support for our cars so there is alot of varied opinions in regards to wat the best parts are... but it all depends upon what ur goals for the car are. As for the tenzo's... i think i recall hearing those rims are pretty heavy... so i dunno if thats gonna help ya any. do some searches adn you'll turn up alot of info in regards to what u wanna learn. g. luck.

Yes, search is your friend. Yeah, I agree with pdc, the tenzo's aren't a good choice. Kinda ugly IMO.

well i can tell you one thing, they do make front end conversions for this car, and imo its the best front end on any car EVER. you can get a turbo kit, springs, shocks etc, just search and be prepared to spend at least 20000 by the time you are doen with it, and get an alarm cause integras get stolen like crazy, just read around and search and youll see

goodluck

when it comes to imports bigger is not always better...if you want to be fast you might want to consider lightweight single semi forged 15' wheels over chromed 17's. mount them on good tires(yokohama avs es 100/falken azenis/nitto450 or 505/kumho 712) 195/50/15.

for the big brakes you dont have to spend top dollar to get stopping power.
try www.fastbrakes.com use the 11.2 front and 11.5 rear conversion...i guarantee it'll stop on a 0.10 and give you 0.09 back. this kit will allow you to clear majority of 15' wheels.

since your new to the import scene you could just upgrade your shocks to tokiko shocks non-adjustable. fit them over rs*r down springs www.turboimport.com(the blue ones). exhaust go with rs*r and it also comes with paper work. rs*r has been around for long time in japan great quality and craftmanship...you get the performance and quality without the leafblower sound.

the best front end conversion you can find for your car is the japanese type-r front end try these sites: www.jdmhondaparts.com www.passwordjdm.com www.jdmshit.com

just continue to read the forums here on h-t and you'll learn quick. find your style and pursue it and continue to ask questions it'll only benefit you.
