Resistance of Blue Tops ??
I measured the resistance of my Blue Top DSM 450s and got some funky feed back... did I use the meter wrong, or do I need to check out the injectors ?
I do intend to get them cleaned, but in the meantime...
Out of the 4 injectors, I only got 2 of them to give me a logical reading, but that changed the more I tested them.
I used an autoranging Multimeter and tested the injectors with the following results:
(Numbs rounded up)
25 ohms
30 ohms
130 Kohms
141 Kohms
15 ohms
126 K ohms
I mean the numbers were all over the place. WTF does that mean ? What could I be doing wrong ? I inveresed the probes and got similar results.

where did you take the reading from? If you dont take the reading dirrectly from the injector itself you will get something different than what you would expect....also sometimes the readings will jump around if you dont have a clean connection or if you move the probes....
I took the reading from the injector itself... it's not on the car yet.
I held the probes as steady as possible, and yes, the more steady I held... the more steady the number (still jumped around some)
When it read in the 100's of K ohms... it would jump around like crazy...100, 112, 124, 141, 114...etc....
