Camber Wear... how long will my tires last?????
i did a search and found nothing regarding my specific question.
i just got 17's wrapped in toyo fz4 (300 treadwear) on my 5th gen. my car is dropped approx. 2" on gc w/ koni sports. From a glance you can't tell the rims are slanted. i went to get an alignment and the ppl told me it was pointless unless i had a camber kit. CAMBER KITS ARE EXPENSIVE. plus from the look of it, the fronts are about .5-1 degree off, and the rear are about 1.5 degrees off. they don't look bad at all... i drive like a responsible conservative adult, but i do make hard turns from time to time... my specific question is:
HOW MANY MILES CAN I GO BEFORE I NEED TO REPLACE THE TIRES??? please give me a good guess, that will be good enough for me. Thanks.

I guess it just depends on how hard you drive and so on, im not really sure how big of a deal that would make, i didnt have a camber kit on my accord and the camber was noticably off, i drove on Kuhmo 712 pretty hard for about 6 months until i sold the wheels. A camber kit shouldnt be too expensive.
I used one full set of tires, kumho 712-205/55/15s, without a camber kit and they lasted 7 months and roughly 15k miles. I have a similar drop with an eibach pro kit and neuspeed/koni yellows. I do notice the tires are lasting longer now since I've installed the ingalls kit up front. The rears don't really wear that quickly.

yeah, that toe will wear a tire out in like 1k or 2k miles if it was as off as mine was after i replaced the boots on my steering rack.
Mine are decently worn on the insides and I've had my setup in since last september and driven about 9k miles. Time for a skunk2 camber kit w\ 2 new front tires :\
