Default ***Quick LS/VTEC question***

Ok, so if i want to do LS vtec, and have a OBD 1 motor, can i buy a OBD 0 swap and make everything work? or can i just do it with a OBD1 to OBD0 harness? and if so, who makes a harness?

i am using an obd0 LS block bored out to 81.25 and an obd1 b16 head. it will work just fine.. if you run an ECU that looks for a knock sensor, then you will need to locate a spot for it on the obd0 ls block

Answer to your question...the block doesnt give a **** what OBD you are.

OMG DING DING DING, THANKS FOR THE ANSWER!!!

haha, so id be able to use everything from the swap on my car? (OBD1 g2 integra) or would i have to use my distributor and all that insted of the b16 one?

the block doesn't matter.. the head on the other hand must have the injectors and distributor that match the OBD of the ECU.

If you are going obd1 then you will need a 4-wire O2 sensor.
