1996 Integra GSR, need the rings replaced. Approximately how much would it run? Thanks in advance. Mods, if this is the wrong forum, please feel free to move it/delete it.

 

are you doing all the work yourself?? is there any cylinder damage??? to just replace the rings you can get a new set for like 70 bucks. you would probably want to hone your block and stuff before youput the pistons back in though

If its an ideal replacement (assuming everything is in perfect condition) and you do it yourself you are looking at:

$50 headgasket
$75 rings
$30 hone tool
$20 oil pan gasket
$10 valve cover gasket
$20 exhaust manifold gasket
(it is also recommended to replace your head studs, but i know a lot of people who have re-used their OEM's before)

and if you need to replace your water pump or timing belt, now is the perfect time to do so.

 

i bought my je rings for $90. Honing was $40 at a machine shop. I couldnt find my drill so couldnt use my hone tool
