Default Buying suspension but need vouching

I am going to buy shocks and springs from this guy JCracer723 and I wanted to know if KYB shocks and TOM springs were good brands. I am paying $380 for both sets.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't heard of TOM's springs either. Couldn't find a website so they might be some low profile company. Either way would these shocks and springs be worth the $380? Let us say the springs are of medium quality and the shocks .

if the shocks are brand new, then then it would be a good deal. are the shocks the adjustable ones? (the AGX's) 380 is a little over what they cost brand new, so if ur gettin brand new shocks and springs for that price, then yea thats a good deal. i'd wanna do some research on those springs tho. when it comes to suspension, you want quality stuff

Might the spring/shock combo have troubles solely because they are different brands? My brother told me that coilovers are better than springs too. Don't know why exactly. Personally I think he doesn't know what he is talking about. I read springs give you a better ride feel and they are more stable than coilovers. Is that true?

coilover sleeves are crap(skunk2, ground control, sprint, etc...). if u had to get sleeves, i'd do ground control over the rest. true coilovers are good but hella $$$( tein, apexi, hks...etc). you cant go wrong with a good spring/shock combo

alot of people here run kyb shocks with h&r springs, or eibach springs. im running kyb agx's and 5zigen springs. i would recommend 5zigen springs, but they discontinued them here in the states
