I've never heard of those springs.
And why don't you want Ground Controls? Those are great when paired up with Koni shocks. I'll be changing my springs out for some of those soon, when I can afford it... wish I had done it to begin with.

i've seen them in super street. Just because they're JDM doesn't mean they're good. I think the JDM "bling" thing is totally overated/played out.
I personally have no experience with them so i can't really comment. Hey i guess if they, "won some JGTC races," they must be decent.
I second the Ground Control setup with your choice of spring rates...late
Edit: Opps, just reread your post. So you have the springs on your teg already. Why don't you give us the details about it.

super street.sorry bro. i have not pick up that magazine for a long time.
the only reason i am trying to stay away from ground control is i have the tendancy to slam my car.. and 2.5 inch drop is not slam for me. ( i like my car slam)
thanks for the replies.. most likely i'll ended up getting the ground control and koni's

Well i guess if you like to "slam" your cars you don't care about how it rides around the track.
For that purpose alone, i would just skip the ground controls and just get anykind of lowering spring if that's all that you're after.
Why waste money on GC's if you're not going to put them to use? The best lowering spring for the street would have to be the Eibach Sportline's, but that still might not be low enough for you. How about the H&R race springs?
And as far as the Koni's go, skip that and get the KYB AGX's. It's a lot cheaper and for your purpose, it's a good way to go.
Yeah, super street is beyond wack now! The only reason i stil have a subscription to super street is because i signed up for the 2 year subscription a while back.
Good luck with your ride...late

agx sux. had them . blow them out quick. tokico's . those are even worse.
i'm not trying to ride as low as i use to. well around 3inch drop. car use to be really low. i'm pretty sure i can get decent handling and still get the ride height i want.
i'm leaning towards h&r race and koni yellows sittin on the lowest setting. that should give me 3inch .
thanks for the reply.

Just one more thing. Have you asked people with the H&R race spring/Koni sport setup how much suspension travel they have? With a 3" drop suspension travel is going to be at a minimum. Suspension travel, spring rate, and the amount a spring compresses before coil-binding plays a key factor in determining ride quality.

H&R Sport and Konis on the lowest perches will give you a 3.5" drop in front and around 3" in back. My H&R Sports w/ Koni perches at the stock perch in front and lowest in back has given me a 2.5" drop in front and 3" in back. Putting the front to the lowest perch will drop it another full inch. If you need more adjustment in between stock and 1" lower for the front shocks, get the Neuspeed Konis which have 3 extra slots between the Koni-provided 2 slots.

Just a little more info on the Neuspeed Koni's. Their piston shafts are 40mm shorter then the regular Koni sports. This allows you to have some preload at full droop, so that the spring won't become unseated. And like patrick gsr stated, they have a few extra C clip perches, the thing the spring perch sits on, which allows a wider range of ride height adjustment compared to "off the shelf" koni's.
According to CRXlee, the Koni expert here on honda-tech, the valving on the Neuspeed koni's and "off the shelf" koni's are the same.
Edit: The 40mm shaft difference on the Neuspeed Koni's doesn't give you more suspension travel compared to the OTS models. It just allows for some preload at full droop. For more suspension travel you have to get the strut body shortened.

again thanks for the help.
