Is this worthwhile? How much more power would I make?
In the future, I plan on boosting a ls/vtec. I was wondering if switching from b16a2 intake manifold to the type r intake manifold would yield any worthwhile gains? I plan to run 7-12 psi at most, on your average t3/t4 or t3/60-1 turbo... Assume the turbo components to be the same in each scenario. Use your average turbo parts.
I am about to build my ls/vtec and I am debating whether I should switch from a b16a2 manifold to the itr intake manifold. About how much power will I gain by doing so? I dont have the bling for one of those 500-600 manifolds, so yah... thanks as usual.

unless you already have an itr mani I would just save the money and spend it on tuning or something else that you need....the ole *** dyno probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference
hmmm i guess, its just that everyone mentions getting a skunk2, and skunk2 and the itr are the same... Supposeldy the skunk2 makes some nice gains, so im not too sure what i should do. I will have the motor out, so it will be a lot easier to install.
