did any 1992 accord model come with a vtec engine. if so, does anyone know if a manual tranny from that engine would fit onto an h22a?

no, none of them came VTEC, and you CAN use the f22 tranny for the H22 if you modify it, but it's more worth it to just use the H22 tranny, becausse the internals are tougher, last longer and are built for the engine, plus the tranny fits fine in the accord. i just did a h22 swap a few weeks ago, and im lovin it

 

yeah, i bought an h22 swap for my prelude, but the tranny is not from a prelude. the guy who sent it to me doesnt know what it is. ive tried 5 different tranny mounts and brackets, but none of them are fitting. the 92 accord tranny mount looks like it might fit, which is why i was wondering if it would fit. i guess ill have to try something else now! ugh.
