Good 175/70 13 tires for the strip?
I need to wrap my steelies for the next couple of months until I get new wheels. What kind of tires would everyone recomend in this size? I would like something with a low treadwear

hello i run stock 175-70-13's at the track and i get 2.1 60ft times....i dont think its all about stickyness....its how u drive them too...these tires are crap dry and wet but lauching at 3500rpm it just goes...dunno y...but the advans are nice very nice

Have you considered something a bit wider? Sumitomo makes those same tires posted above in a 195/60-13 size for $36. They also have a 185/60-13 for $29 each, which isn't as wide as the 195's, but is slightly smaller diameter for higher effective gearing and better acceleration.
