Hey well i can only help you with my own experience with springs and coil-overs. If you have no intention of lifting and lowering at different heights then i suggest using lowering springs. They ride better than coil-overs. However there are good coilovers out there like GroundCountrol. So it really depends on what type of ride you are looking for. Springs are not adjustable usually, but are a good ride, and coil-overs are adjustable, but don't have the best ride.

Go with GC's/koni yellows or tokico illumina's. The only thing I don't like about regular springs is that if the drop isn't exactly what you want then your stuck with it until you buy new springs, and then your back at square1. The ride quality won't be as great with coilovers unless you buy a complete damper kit but then your looking at spending a G or so.
