Seems like my luck just keeps getting worse, CRASHED my GSR, story inside :(
Oh well...
From my tranny breaking to replacing it with a Type R tranny, from losing 60WHP on a 'clogged' cat to dynoing 151 WHP on a stock motor.. and now basically destroying my front end - I can say.. This car has been like a rollercoaster - and I'm just about to give up!
Without getting into how the accident happened.. This what is damaged on my car..
- front bumper
- cracked headlights
- both fenders
- slight damage on driver side door and dent on quarter panel
- cracked windshield
- broken rear view mirrors
- fucked up hood
Basically the whole front clip of the car.
Not to mention I dented my oilpan and there is a hairline crack on my new Type R tranny that caused all the fluid to leak out
...
Right now I'm looking at these options..
1 - Part the car out, get some money from the insurance, and either save for a Type R or do an LS turbo setup.
2 - Fix the car with the insurance money, get the paint job I wanted, and the 98 front end.
I'm leaning towards the first option right now.. I'm not sure how much some of this stuff goes for other than the tranny maybe u guys can help, but I would be selling this..
- 94 GSR motor, 117x miles on it - 220 PSI across the board, 151 WHP dyno with CAI and timing at 18 degrees...
- ITR 01 Tranny, no grinds - my mechani said the hairline crack is not a big deal and I can just change the casing or weld it there so it doesn't leak tranny fluid, but the transmission will undergo further inspection before I decide to sell it.
- 2000 GSR black leather seats and arm rest, front and back.
- 2000 GSR blades
What can I get for some of this stuff???
