Default hatch: which way to face subs?

i know this might have been asked a ton of times...but which way do you hatchies have your subs facing? right now mines are forward, and they hit hard...just wondering if it should be facing the other way like it would in a civic/accord...

Try it all ways if you have space. Front, up, back. I don't think the hatch has enough room for cancellation in the trunk, so you may not notice a difference.

Preferrably i have found the best gains in bass especially in competition when firing towards the rear with the subs as close to the rear hatch as possible. This causes a change in the sound waves giving more bass, basically. Also it causes the rear hatch to stay more solid instead of vibrating like crazy. this is usually not the best place to have a box though so just play with it till you like it.
