Clevite main and rod bearings?
Someone on here posted a pic a while back of the parts they were gonna use to build there prelude block with.I Remember they were gonna use Clevite bearings...Anyone else here ever use them??
Lots of guys here use them. Commonly referred to as ACL bearings.
If you search archived topics created by Rocket, you should be able to find the composition and build info you're looking for.
As for bearing sizes and clearancing...they only produce two or three sizes, where only one is for standard sized for unground journals, and the other one or two sizes for journals that need to be turned down significantly (.010" and .025" oversized - 1/100" seems like a lot, so I might be a zero short).
The standard-sized bearings are usually sized somewhere in the middle of the bearing size chart and usually clearance just fine. If they don't, it's recommended to simply mix in an OEM Honda bearing to help it get into spec.

Ok. Nevermind. Just kidding. They're not.
It's the assy lube that's included that's labeled Clevite 77. The bearing boxes are labeled as Duraglide 780 produced solely by ACL Bearing Company, a division of Automotive Components Ltd.
