Default Best in dash DVD player?

Who makes the best in dash DVD player? Fully motorized screen (at least 7"), and touch screen. Thanks.

Woe what a loaded question.

That depends on what important to you:
touch screen
picture quality

Hands down picture quality /////Alpine
the new IVAD900...it kills the rest.
As for touchscreen Kenwood or Eclipse.

I've had bad experience with the touch screens. Sure they are nice but unless this is going into a show car that only pulls out on the weekends they are not the best choice for a long lasting player. The touch screens go through a lot of abuse and in my opinion there are none made yet that can hold up to frequent use over the years.

Well, it will be an everyday screen, so which will have the overall best quality for constant use? I was thinking the Clarion because I like the look of it. But I'm not sure. So which one is the over all best?

buy cheap *** tv off ebay. they still give you 3yrs warranty which for $150 for 7.2" for a tv is not bad price talking about $50/yr

Alpine has the best picture quality IMO with rare pixel burnout. I've seen many pixels burn on the other brands. Touch screen just gets too dirty for my liking though.

Alpine orders their panels from Philips LG, just like Sony. Their display is nothing spetacular, they just put a powerful backlight on it. Pixalation on Philips LG panels is the lowest out of any panel on the market currently, why do you think Apple uses them for their displays?

1 megapixel on a 7" screen That makes the 1.9 on my laptops 15" screen seem like a joke.

you might want to get one taht can move out far so that it will clear the temp controls in your teg. I have last years eclipse works great. I would think the new ones do the same thing.
