You guys seen this kitcar?

The Prelude connection is that the H22 was designed in as the powerplant. I hung around their forum for a while, but got flack when I started making negative comments regarding their marketing stratagy. So I'll bitch here...
They announced the car way before any car existed, I suspect they're hoping to back up orders. They're more than a year behind the scheduled release and have yet to have a running prototype. They talk all about how it'll handle better than anything, but they've yet to drive the first one! And they're "already in production."
Cool looking car, poor business plan. This sounds sadly like many kitcar companies in general. Nice product, suspect infrastructure. Being in the Slovak Republic doesn't help.
Rant mode off.

It sounds like a hack opeartion they are running. My bet is that they will run out of money before they sell one of those.
I think that when you are done with your H22A "Mini", you should try to get someone to market a kit car of that. I would buy one!

I knew about this car since last year. They actually had a "special sale" going on in Dec.. for anyone to made a $5000 downpayment towards their kit, they will get discounts on their car. something like $6000 off or something. Any way... they promised to deliver the kits to them by January... but its already end of April...

I hope it works out. A light, mid-engine, H22 powered car would be pretty neat. If it weighs half as much as a Prelude, it would perform roughly like a prelude with double the power. It would be interesting to compare it to a K20 powered lotus. I'm also interested in seeing how the Kimini22 turns out.

Thanks, so am I! I'll keep at it. The "grand plan" was to have it done by the end of 2003. I may just hand off all the body shell composite work to someone who knows what they're doing... imagine that. That would really speed up the project, but cost $$$$
