Default My first HPDE reflection

So this Saturday was my first time ever at the track and I happened to pick my home to be Lime Rock Park. I went with the BMWCCA Patroon chapter and it was a blast. After the first session I was able to get the jitters out of my system and my instructor Andy was just awesome. After my second run he took my car out for a run and showed me some things and the thrid session I felt was much better. I never realized just how hard the left harder is in the esses. Man what a rush though. Andy if you read this thanks again! You are the man!

BMWCCA Patroon
Great weather
Great instructor

Overall a great day!

I think RJ said it correctly... From this day forward I expect my bank account to read $0

If you manage to keep it out of the negative numbers, you'll be doing better than a lot of us. Glad you had fun.

Jeremy, I'm glad you had a good time at Lime Rock. It was fun having you as a student. I've found that autocrossers make much better students than the average driver. You did great for a first time out there!

I wish I had been smart enough to notice the bolt on the A/C belt tensioner before it departed. Nothing else broke or fell off again on the way home though, so it could have been worse. I guess that is a good lesson to me to double check my work, maybe another day. Do you have the site you mentioned in California for OEM parts?

If you're ever at the track when I'm there, let me know and I'll give you the ride in my car I owe you.

Andy

If people would stop wiring more money than I can offer without ever seeing the car I'd have a bling ride right now! GRRRR! Okay, time to un-hijack this thread.
