Ingalls, Ingalls STYLE, or skunk2 camber kit
Hey guys I need a camber kit ASAP, I'm trying to decide which one I should get. I have a 2 inch drop on my car. Should I get the ingalls kit or the skunk2 kit. I heard there are problems with the skunk2 hitting the fender if your dropped low.
Also would I be wasting my money buyin a kit that is just the ingalls Style like this one http://groupbuycenter.com/buy.aspx?id=9466 . any opinions would be very helpful. THanks

I recommend skunk2, i installed it in my civic and it's way better then ingalls. I have ingalls in my other teg and the camber works well also, but it damage my inside a little.
Here's a picture with my ingalls and what it did to my car.

Glad I got my skunk 2 kit. Any tips on installing? I looked at it today w/ the wheel off and it looked a little confusing on my 99 gsr.

i have the ingalls. i have no idea how a set of these could have done that to DrMartins car, but ive had no problems with them whatsoever.
skunk2 gets my vote
I have it on my car and have had it on their for more than 4k miles now and i've had no problems whatsoever.... no abnormal squeeking issues either like some people complain about other kits. oh and if you need help on the install go here...

ingalls replaces the stock upper links that connect the upper A arms to the strut tower.... while the skunk2 kit replaces instead the upper A arm and the integrated ball joint. So the camber adjustment is made at a slightly differnt point. The skunk2 kit is fully adjustable from +4deg to -4deg according to them and they do this by having the ball joint mounted on a track on teh upper a arm so that it can be moved in or away from the center of the car and thus correcting or adjusting the camber.

I hope all you guys w/ camber kits aren't getting them set to straight up 0 camber. If so you are hurting the car's handling abilities. If I were you I would run it somewhere between -1.5 to -2 deg. I run -2.3 w/o a camber kit w/o problems.
if you get an ingalls clone, make sure it comes with the bushings. mine didnt and it bent my upper a-arm. had to make my own bushings..

Wouldn't it be a waste of money even buying a kit if you were still gonna run -2 degrees of camber? Should the rear be set at 0 or should you also leave some negative camber there? It seemed to me that the rear is closer to 0 degrees after my drop than the front is(front has much more neg camber).

from the looks of it... the upper A arm probably knocks the strut tower from the underside of it and causes the paint to crack off.
skunk2 only makes a kit for the front, nothing for the rear, and ultimately the decision to switch is up to you... i'm happy with my skunk2, but have not had experience with the ingalls so i wouldnt be able to give you a comparison review... but on a side note, i have not a single problem with my skunk2 so far so i'm happy with it.
