I can get an 89 teg ls motor w/ 100k on it. I pretty much just need the block but i'll have spare trans etc.. I can get it for 500 bucks. I plan on putting rods, pistons and rings in it. I have a tricked out ls head from a 96 teg but i don't know if i can put it on this block. Can i?

 

oh yeah, will 92 ls rods and pistons fit it?

 

if the motor is off a 89 its a D16a1. meaning the head off the 96 Ls wont work.
