Accord service manual
I'm new to Honda Accord and wondered what service manual would be the best to get. My first problem is my heater control dial does not seem to be moving anything when I turn it. Do any service manuals show diagrams of behind/in dash control mechanisms ? I bought a Haynes, but was not overly impressed. I'm wondering if there is a factory manual, like the one I have for my Corvette, that is pretty comprehensive. I have seen some CD's advertised on EBay, does anyone know if these are any good? Thanks in advance.

Check the **** first. Use the Fan control **** to see if it works. I went out and bought a new heater control and when I started pulling it apart I found out just the **** was broke. Dealer said it's pretty common. Cheap and easy fix.

the best source for honda repair manual.
btw the **** has a shitty little metal clip that slips over the end of the control **** rod... more usually than not it breaks or the plastic that holds it securely breaks... pull it straight off toward you and check.
