help air fuel gauge problems!!!
hey i am installing an air/fuel gauge(autometer). and i hooked the purple wire to the white wire on the very lowest connector on a pr3. is this right i thought you were supposed to hook it up on the o2 sensor wire on the ecu. but all the gauge does is sit at 1 led all the way on the rich side. does anyone know what is wrong

yeah, you have to drive it a little to warm it up... a search should have cleared up this problem.

grrr now it is not working.... when i put on my running lights it moves to lean then if i put my headlights on it goes more lean and if i use my turn signal it will go lean when the arrow on the cluster comes on and i have the power for the gauge hooked up to the radio power and then i have the o2 sensor hooked up at the #1 o2 c16 on my pr3 ecu why isw it doing this?

Yeah, make sure you let car warm up and drive it around. It should work.
Now for your second problem: You are having some major interference problem, I would suggest taking that ground out and connect it to you battery ground. That's what I did and it works great. No interference at all.

I always ran the 02 wire from the 02 directly about 6''s back. Run a dedicated wire for it then a good ground. Now when you turn on radio, headlights, or anything electrical it will move it a little leaner because there LED lights and they also run off of 12volts and its extra drains on your electrical. When setting A/F make sure nothing is on and that will be as true as a narrow band 02 will get
yes because its getting lesser voltage....same way you radio or headlights will dim if you have a large system with a large amp when ever the bass hits
