opinions on a big brake caliper bracket
i was wondering the marketability of a caliper bracket to use a big brake kit on a 4th gen without having to change to integra or 92-up civic spindles. i have two friends who both work in machine shops that would make a set for me to test fit and possibly sell if there is a market for them. this bracket would save the cost of spindles ($100), modifying the upper control arm, and having to do an alignment when done ($60). plus you wouldn't be messing up the geometry of the suspension by using a longer spindle. if we can get this part to work i'm guessing the price to be around $100-125. please give me your input. thanks
yeah, only if you have 10.4 inch rotors (90-91 civic ex) this would be mainly for the rotor upgrade and street driving. all of the kits include a caliper bracket for a 10.4 inch rotor, this would be a replacement bracket to fit the same kit on a civic/crx without swaping to larger factory brakes first.
