Good Roll Cage Fabricator/Installer in or around Central Valley, CA????????
Lookin for the dopest, flyest, cheapest, bestest, roll cage fabber/installer for a '90 'teg in or around the Central Valley, CA or Bay Area, CA?
I need the installation to be 1.75" DOM tubing and it needs to meet NASA regulations which are basically SCCA Pro 2 regulations...
I don't want to buy a bolt in cage cause I'm a big guy and I need special clearance's etc...

try DSR in san jose . i dont have the number , call 411 and ask for the number to Dyno Spot Racing
what tracks do you race at ? ive always wanted to do more than just go in a straight line .
cheap and good dont come in the same sentence when it comes to roll cages or bars
dsr will not be cheap, but will be good
why do you want to get a roll cage?
is this for a street car?
what benefits do youthink it will add to your car besides racer bling?
edit: and why the hell do you car about looks when coming to something that might save your life?

as long as it has the proper padding around the driver/passenger area there should be no harm .

OK let me be more specific... I am a member of NASA (National Auto Sports Association - http://www.nasaproracing.com) and I am in the process of building a "Honda Challenge - H4" (www.hondachallenge.com) car and I need a cage and fire system to finish the project.
I race at all the West Coast road courses... ie. Infineon (Sears Point), Laguna Seca, Thunder Hill, Button Willow, Willow Springs, California Motor Speedway, Las Vegas, Reno....
There's also a schedule on (www.hondachallenge.com)
I don't have a highly modified, high horsepower car.... cause the rules don't allow it, but the suspension is highly modified and the car is about 2510lbs (very light)...
I make 196 horsepower at the wheels...
I still have a few modifications I can make but they may only add about 15-20 horse maximum... The big key is that the car carries exit speed really well so I can usually catch and pass any high horsepower car in the corners cause they are heavier and easier to get out of shape...
If your interested and in the Bay Area, or Central Valley the next event is May 25 at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point)...

For a rollbar this is fine for the street as everything (metal tubes) is behind you.
A full cage in a street car given the close provimity of the tubes to your head (with no helmet) is unsafe. Even with padding. Not to say that you shouldnt ever drive on the street but i wouldnt make it my primary source of transportation.
