sounds like you either have a vacum leak in your egr or your throttle body could be really dirty. Get some TB/carbarator cleaner and clean the tb. If that does fix it then its something with the egr i believe. which is a vacum leak.

sheck ur hoses.. it sound like u have a vacum leak. that is the only thing that makes ur car rev onits own unless u played around with the throotle cable but it doesn't fluctuate taht much like u said.

did you disconnect any valves or anything vaccuum related?

move any lines or reroute them?

pull a sensor plug by accident and not get it clipped back on can do it.

if it is not a vaccume leak and you are sure of it, you might have a problem with your idle air control valve. my buddy had the same problem. it all started when we cleaned out his fuel injectors

thats not how u re set the ecu on a 6gen..

you gotta hold down your trip mileage button...for about 7-8 secs..

while the ignition is turned on but not all the way where the engine would start...

hold it there for a couple of secs...and turn the car on..

you'll always have to reset the ecu when installing a aftermarket part. or else the computer wont know how much air its taking in,since it takes in more air then the stock air box.

hope using that re set of ecu helped..

if not bring it to Honda dealer ship.

Check the plug and wiring to the idle air speed control motor. Bad ground or trigger ires will cause engine to have an unstable idle speed
