help with shaving door handles!!!!!
remove door handles, weld sheet metal from inside, fill on outside so it's flush... simple, clean effective... there's other ways to do it too... that's just a simple one...
never weld sheet metal on inside of door and then fill. you will have thick mass of filler in door handle pocket that will crack and fall out and eventually look really stupid. there are custom panels just for honda door handle pockets that you can weld in from the outside. once the welds are grinded smooth, you can use just enough filler to get the door nice and slick and it will never look bad. just my .02
Well like I said, there's other ways of doing it, but that's how this CRX was done... Going on 5 years, no problems...
Edit: Come to think of it though, it was thicker than sheet metal if I recall correctly...
