We were trying to install an Apexi VAFC today both cars are european spec and both are BB6 H22a's on the one that is a 97 with 185 HP everything worked perfectly cause we used the jap spec diagram but on the 2000 with 200 HP the check engine light keeps coming on and its runing unevenly can it be that we need to use the US spec diagram for this vehicle cause the difference in the diagrams is the ground wire does anyone have any idea on this matter.

my check engine light comes on too. is it the engine malfunction light? if so, dont worry about it. were you goni fast (over 100 mph)? it ususally happens then in vtec. just disconnect the battery for about 10 seconds and the light should come off. it worked for me

 

no it comes on direct after the car is cut on and not after a few minutes but directly.
