Default compression about a supercharger on a itr (some weird info)

ok i just gtot a e-mail saying this

The final compression ratio on a 10.6:1 engine with 8 psi is 16.4:1
which is
really high for cars with pump gas. If you run 6 psi the 10.6:1
compression
the finial compression ratio is 14.9 which is a pretty good limit on
pump
gas. So you might want to run 6psi if you don't change out the head
gasket.

i am tempted to believe you guys over that. so what do you think. i know there are people running 10 psi on the jrsc no probems with stock bottom end and stock head gasket. but **** maybe i am worring to much about this.

compression ratio is a static charaticerstic of the motor.

maybe you are confusing compression ratio with cylinder pressure.
