Yet Another Awesome Hondata Tuned Car with Full Race Turbo Kit!!!!
Ok, without going into too many details (I'll leave that for BrokenVtec whose car this was to reply), this was an incredible setup. Again, I must say, HONDATA pulls through once again!
I must flame him a bit though given that I spent 10hrs doing what should have taken 4hrs. The poor guy had the greatest turbo setup but had his injector wiring just twisted together and taped (had to take it all apart and solder them), and had his boost controller hooked up all wrong!
Then, after getting 500WHP at 18psi, he blew a hole in a piece of cheap *** rubber coupling hose on the charge piping and we couldn't finish the street tuning at the end. So the car will have minor hesitations at the low end till he can come back. But, I'll let him tell you how the car feels.
Basic setup:
Integra Type R
B20/Vtec; sleeved and built; built head
Full race Eq. Length Mani w/ T3/60-1 turbo

GOD DAMMMNNNN!!! 500 WHP @ 18 psi!!! I am hoping for high 300's @ 15 psi with my built H22, maybe I can hope for more! Great tune! Sounds like fun, I would like to hear more/see some pics.
Awesome work again! Never heard of a t60, what brand is that?
I have to ask, where are the full race haters now? You have your hard data that the manifold will give significant gains.

Torin, you could have left the last minute injector install out of it....it wasnt my fault...lol....
but anyway it was a great session and thats again for helping me get everything together....
and look forward to some more dyno pulls at higher boost....

turbo is a T3/60-1.... nothing too crazy...... for everyone who doubted the quality or HP claims of Full-Race products..... here is your proof....508@18psi....I think it speaks for itself.......and also the Tuner had very much to do with those numbers also..... so if anyone needs there hondata tuned GO SEE TORIN!! (GRUVYTUNE)...

Just to clarify --
this turbo is a 60-1 ball bearing turbocharger with a STAGE 5 wheel in a .63 a/r housing. Nothing unordinary. Great work torin, i was swamped with work at the shop all day so sorry i wasnt about to get your call danny, i didnt realize i missed your call until 230 AM az time. hit me up tomorrow. I hope youre happy with the power

Ha! I'm just giving you a hard time. I didn't mind fixing it. It needed to be done!

Anyone with any experience of injectors cutting out after doing several strong pulls?
What was a problem with this setup was that once we got some good pulls and got the tuning right, we would then get a couple pulls where the car would stutter and the logger would show intermittent fuel stutter (what looked like the injectors).
I've heard of heat soak with injectors and wonder if that is what we were seeing? These are 72lb injectors and were near maxing out at 500HP with a 85-90%duty cycle at 48psi fuel pressure. The fuel pump is an Aeromotive.

That's bleepin incredible! What exactly do the values in the lambda graph mean though? Like 1.0 would be ... ??? I'm used to the x:x fuel ratio
ok, lets see here.........
Torin - Outstanding Work! Too Bad the ***** Rigged cup link blew, not to mention you were still in the high 400s with the blown link, if not you coula tapped 525 easily.....
Danny - ITS ONLY GONNA GET BETTER!
SixtyDashOne - Stop Hatin. Yes, Danny broke 500whp before you!

holy wow. 500whp @ 18psi on a 60-1! I didn't think 60-1's could flow that much air @ 18psi? is there much more boost left in the turbo?
that is sick.
to brokenvtec for putting together a dope set up
to geoff for making such a bad *** turbo kit. and
to gruvytune for being a such a great tuner.

I'll play the devil's advocate by saying the exhaust manifold isnt the ONLY piece in a turbo setup. I bet if he bolted on a sparks racing manifold or supert manifold, he wouldnt lose more than 20hp MAX. He may even gain power due to the shorter runners. The manifold is a hollow tube, that is all. Just make it flow nicely and it will make power. And it sort of pisses me off that he makes good power WITH it, and everyone's starts suckign geoff's dick. Why isnt anyone sucking the turbo manufacture's dick? And hondata didnt make any power either, hondata just allows the TUNER to adjust the a/f ratio and timing, so stop sucking hondata's dick. His tuner did a good job
