Default Oil Pan Gasket

From what i understand for a H22A4 their is no oil pan gasket. What is the best thing to use in its place? I got a oil pan gasket from a local parts store but I dont think it was for a h22a4 (5th gen lude). When i go to tighten down on the oil pan bolts it just pushes out the sides and leaks like crazy. Any ideas?

Use a liquid gasket like Hondabond since that is what the service manual says.
