Default Keep A/C or not to??

When I swap my 2000 Accord's motor with the h22 I want maximum performance...but I live in Louisiana and 99 degree weather is a bit of a problem. If in my place what would you do?... Ditch the air conditioning or keep it. I mean i could always roll down the windows, peace.

keep that sh*t. dropping the a/c will only let you have 1 or 2 more horses if that.

What you could do is if you take out the A/C is get one of those little portable fans that you mount on the dash. I see no reason in taking out the A/C, though.

Big A/C ***** says keep it

it won't rob HP unless you run it and it doesn't weigh THAT much. I wouldn't take it out of any car I drove on a regular basis.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by YeuEmMaiMai &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">keep the ac you will only save a few pouds in weight and the ECU will automatically cut it off when you are WOT.</TD></TR></TABLE>

a/c saves 70 lbs

if it was a civic, that's one thing, but an accord is ~luxury and you should keep p/s and a/c. keep it unless the compressor is broke.
