I am just venting a little here so bare with me. When a purchased my 2000 ITR one year ago it was the only one in town until recently when a couple moved here fom alaska with an ITR also. Pretty cool, one PY, and one CW ITR for hundreds of miles. Now all of a sudden there are about 20 civic type r's, a couple of type r neon's, accords, and a variety of other **** boxes with type r stickers on them in town. Not that i would but i all most want to take the stickers off of my car. Here is the part that really pisses me off. I went to the honda dealler yesterday to buy an oil filter and to talk to my mechanic about doing some work for me in the near future and what do i see on the wall behind the counter of the parts department. Yup! You guessed it. A **** load of type r, plain big red R, and Si, stickers on the wall. NOOOOOO! i was like WTF Jay! Your not really selling those are you. He just smilled and said oh yeah like hot cakes to every kid in town, i just ordered a **** load more too!! I didn't really know what to say. I was just shocked to find out that was where all these kids were getting them from. I bought my filter and told him that he was an idiot! He then showed me a catlog that had big Type R windshield banners in it, and that he was going to order some. I just walked away because i felt like choking him! Sorry for venting here, i was just wondering if any one could relate or is he the only idiot out there making a quick buck or two and making the R look like a joke in this town!! Now every time i turn around some idiot in a mustang or cammaro who doesn't know any better is saying i just smoked some kid in a type r the other day! And no i don't have any thing against mustangs, cammaro's or the drivers but i have raced plenty of both and won my fair share at the strip, and they are no competition in the twisties!

Should be able to get rid of all of them in one shot this weekend at the movie theatre while the fast and the furious is playing!

 

 

Sticker tuning, especially this one, T-R finally died out in northern east coast. I am sorry to here that it had
migrated to your area of the country. I guess after west to east, it got to go to the middle someday.
