Default building own box...

just wondering for those who have built their own box...im looking to fit a pretty small size box into my hatch...and wondering how much did you guys spend...my friend built one for 1 12 and he spent about 12.00 on wood...the rest he cut up himself...how much does this type of wood cost...and am i suppose to use MDF wood...

MDF is good. About $20 for 4x9 or so. If you have the tools then this project will be very cheap.

i made my own to for my integra. the MDF 3/4 in was 20. and the rear connections for the subs were like 2 bucks. the carpet was 10. it matched perfect. but it wasn't worth the hassel. if you live in socali i know where you could get a single box pretty cheap probably for 10-15 bucks hit me up at the IM and i'll tell you where.

i'll have to make it myself...its going into my hatch..and i have a rear strut bar there so not enough room
