are you serious? 145 on LS? i have a 95 teg gsr and when i hit bout 125-130 seems like its stalling hard and my rpm/mph just pretty much stays at a spot. i dont know, maybe i didnt go far enough or maybe i should try a little downhill more but getting 145 seems pretty hard for me even trying to get 135mph. i dont know???
interesting...145 on ls and my gsr 130?

Little under 140 with I/H/E took forever to get up to speed.
Buried the needle at 150 with turbo, got up to speed in no time at all.
I don't recommend anyone doing this. I was just curious of what the car could do. And you know the saying curiosity killed the cat, I guess I got lucky.

Lets also not forget that the speedo and tach are over-calibrated so its going to be less then what the tach reads. and if necessary I will post a pic of a friends that his tach shows him sitting at 7600 and his VAFC shows him sitting at right over 7100(digital, more precise...truthful). Therefore take 5-10MPH off what your tach was showing.
1999 GS stock at the time. I Got the car up to 136MPH. Would of gone faster but there were a cop in front of me. If I did got busted I would been in VA jail for racing my freind Delso in a 55MPH Zone

92 ls with i/h/e jg 301 cams tbody ect , 145 mph at 3 am in the morning 149 going down a slight hill , i had gsr rims on my car 15 inch (com[pared to 14 inch stock )i know the tachs are off a little so i would say 138-142 actual speed , the car gets up to 120 pretty easy , but after 120 MPH the car makes alot of weird noises and wind noises (KIDS DONT TRY THIS AT HOME
)
now with my car with a b18c in with b16 tranny the highest i got it up to was 135 and my rpms was at 7800 , i havent went past 100 mph in a long time , pretty much anything past 100 MPH is a quick trip to go to jail 2 points on your driving record and your isurance will sky rocket , be careful out there everybody

Don't know what he meant... but the LS gearing is good for top end.
I couldn't pass 125 or so with my 4Dr LS all motor, I/E, pulleys.
I buried the needle (140+) at 12 psi and wouldn't do it again... scary.

Hit about 135 in a gsr with only intake on it. It was kind of scary, but I think I could of gone a faster. Vtech's secondary souds hella cool in fifth gear. Hauls *** after hitting the secondaries. I don't think I'll be doing that again in a long time though.
