Alright, So I thought I had all the parts I need for the oil cooler to put on my gsr. Well, I ordered the wrong coolant hose, got one for a type r..not gsr. (Take a look in the pic..I need number 3) I got a hose close to the shape, same diamiter.Think I can just bend it in place as long as it doesnt kink? Ill keep it there till I get the right one...Its on backorder.. Here are some pics.

What's wrong with the ITR one? It looks like it's the same length, shape and diameter?

 

Thats the Type R one in number 3.
The difference? about...about 4 inches. The nipple on the main coolant pipe is in a different location.

 

Any quality high-temp/pressure reinforced hose from an auto parts store should work, assuming it's the correct diameter. The bend radius doesn't look tight enough to cause a kink, and you could always extend the length slightly for further kink prevention.

 

Autozone..They suck ballz. "sorry sir we dont have tho hose, and my manager said that even if we had a hose close to it, we cannot give it to you. as we would be liable if something broke." I then yelled at him for being a moron.

Going to call acura later and order that hose tho.. Prolly take months to get, lol.
