Default h22+87 oct. = bad?

found a 97 base lude with 85000 miles on it and the guy said hes been using 87 oct. would you think there would be anything wrong with the car? the only mod on the car is a CAI....jw and thanks alot

87 octane would be fine if he never drove it fast. im sure with 87 octane and he went WOT all the time it might have suffered some detonation. if the guy is to cheap to put 91 octane in his lude, then i hate to think how often he changed his oil or did manitance!
