Drove/Rode/Seen my 1st Trubo ITR last night!
There are not many words to explain the excitement that I had when I pulled up to a local meet and my good friend who has a PY ITR had a nice huge intercooler peeking out from his front bumper.
I have been known to race a few people (on the track) and usually win.. so the first thing he says "let see what you can do against this bad boy". The first thing I did is hop out of my car told my girlfriend to park my car and hopped in his.
To my astonishing surprise he let me drive it out of the parking lot. I was so friggen stocked that I was shaking. The sound of the BOV and the sound of the turbo was pure blasphemy to every one of my human senses.
Now to the experience of the power:
The car has amazing amounts of TQ from 2k - 4krpms... around 5k it seams to lag a little (not anything impressive) but once VTEC kicked in..... There are no words to describe the experience of driving this machine. The least I can say is that it felt like we had a locomotive pushing the car from behind. I gripped the wheel so tight that my hand hurt after a few short runs. I am still stoked right now the next day.
We are heading to the track tonight to see what we both run. I will let you all know of the results. Wish me luck (j/k)
but I just though I would share that experience (an orgasmic one) with my fellow Hters.
I think its time for me to boost.

By the way... I will have pics/video/timeslips of his car on my website withing the coming week http://www.typeracing.com
Hey Jeff, is he on the boards? I don't know of a turbo type r in your area other than scooter, but he's by Dave...
Whats up Marc... no he isnt (yet) I plan on making him an avid member. He is not quite the computer person, but I will force him to start hanging out. He just got his car back from the shop 6pm last night.
I already made him brand into his skin to be at the next expo with me! We will both be driving... all the way to the west coast

with Sherbaz making 560 whp, I don't think he'd let someone else drive his car unless it was John Brown
