Default shuffle: will it devour my CD changer?

i was thinkin, i play my music on random, the cd changer i have now has shuffle 2, which will randoly pick from each disc, its a 10 disc sony changer and im thinkin it will last a little shorter if i keep playing it like this..

im swaping it for a pioneer today, i don't like sony but my friend does, it has the same feature as well and its a 12 dis...

will playing my cd changer on shuffle and going from disc to disc every track shorten the life ?

Will that shorten the life? It's possible, but that is what it was made for. How the hell are you going to swap a sony for a pionner? Are they FM modulated?

You can't connect a Sony changer to a Pioneer head, and vice versa.

Wear and tear is inevitable. Everything has an expected service live. Who knows how long it will last. That's what it was made to do, buck up and use it.
