My shop did a CRVTEC for me, im pretty happy but I have a feeling they put b20 cams into my b16 head (or other cams)cause it doesn't pull in VTEC at all really. Anyone have the code that would be on these cams? Also, they said the engine could use more fuel and thats why it may not feel as quick as it should, and I looked at the STOCK injectors and they didn't remove the resistors that I had on the injector wires from when i was running dsm450's. Would this lower my power significantly?

Leaving the resistors in place will not hurt anything.

B20 cams do not have VTEC lobes so if VTEC even engages they aren't B20 cams. Well I guess that VTEC would still engage even if they were B20 cams, but with no VTEC lobe for the middle rocker to ride against I would think that would spell disaster. Anyway when you are looking for a stamp on the cams you should look to see if they even have 3 lobes per cylinder on both intake and exhaust cams.

 

k, i removed the resistors today and will look at the cams tommorow..(vtec sounds like its engaging so it seems good. I think I need an adjustable FPR to get some more fuel cause top end is a dog on the crvtec.
