My problem is my car is hitting rev limiter? around 6k. Its a crx dx with the muliport swap. i used the si ecu first and the rev limiter came in around 6500 rpm. i put an integra ecu in and the msd rev limiter would kick at 7k because i have the 7k chip in. it work fine for about a week and all of a sudden now around 6k my car sounds like it is hitting rev limiter. i have no idea, any help is appreciated.

 

Can your dx motor withstand 7K? When I had my a6, I never went over 6500.

 

the integra ecu has a cold start fuel cut-off at about 6000 - if you are not up to operating temp, it will cut-off

 

it still does it after the car has been warmed up. the car ran fine for a week all of the way to 7k.

the integra ecu has a Cold Rev limiter off 6400 and a warm rev limiter off 7200

my PG7 does that on me
