just dropped in my b16 without a lift and by myself
i basically jacked the front of the car like 3ft in the air,pushed the motor,tranny,shift linkage still attached,and lower the sides,using 2 jacks 1 one each side.took about 3 hrs
motor,tranny even the shift linkages were still attached.all i had to do was remove the mount brackets that was bolted to the engine.not one scratch on valve cover or any broken sensors

its a good technique ... but I still use the engine hoist ... we do a full motor in and motor out in 2.5hrs flat ... we have to cause sometimes we do about 4 swaps a week ... the tough chassis to do is CRX but the EG, Del Sols, Integs are nice and spacious ...
on our racecar we just slide the motor from the front without a traction bar and bolt it right in ... thats a piece of cake except for the custom hasport mounts which REF"UST to flex ...
