wtf!? the guy posted pictures of his car after a wreck. which was caused by an old fart. why the hell are you telling him to lay off the crack pipe when you're the one not competent enough to put two and two together to get the full story? jeez....was that a lame attempt to better yourself by insulting others?
back to the topic....
I feel you.....I was forced to swerve off the highway b/c an old lady jumped across 3 lanes ,into the fast lane where traffic was already flowing at 55 mph.I happened to be in the far left lane when the lady pulls into the highway from a gas station in the right lane. common sense will tell you that no matter how much power you've got under your hood, you can't accelerate to 55 in 2 seconds...so i swerve into the grassy median to avoid smashing into her and i lose controll and drifted sideways smack into a tree in my left rear quarter panel. what's funny was that when i was drifting sideways, the front of my car was facing directly at her...she looked at me and just kept on cruisin like nothing happened. insurance fucked me on this saying how it was my fault and i ended up having to cancel the claim.I wish that they would re-evaluate the elderly with their driving skills once they reach a certain age to determine if they're still competent to operate a moving vehicle. this is a serious matter because it's mine and other people's safety at stake.anyways, sorry to kinda hi-jack your thread. I hope that your car gets fixed soon.

I'm all with you two about this. I get to do a lot of driving for my work, and I regret to say so, but from what I see day after day, more often than not, elderly people are by far the most dangerous people on the roads except maybe for some young fools who seem to find a big thrill in zigzagging through heavy traffic.
What's ironic about this, is that these same old people rarely actually make accidents; they drive so slowly that people have to drive out of the roads and nearly kill themselves to avoid them.
I wish the elderly had more common sense at their age and realise they become a public danger on the roads at some point of their life, and they need to hand the wheel over to someone else, or stay home.
