CD stuck in stock deck, how do i get it out manually?
I just installed an Alpine 9815 in my civic. The problem is i left a CD in the stock deck and realized it when i was done w/ the installation. Any way to remove the CD w/o poowering the deck.

I don't know any easy way. My recommendation is just ask your stereo shop to do it for you when they take out a stock head unit.

only by opening it and forcing it out.. i would just slid the alpine radio out and plug the stock unit back in.. you dont neeed to worry about the code, the cd will eject alpine radios are easy to remove w/ a pick tool
same thing happened to me. i took the stock deck completely apart until i could just lift the cd out. not sure if the stock deck still works though but that doesnt matter.
yeah i would suggest just taking the alpine out and hooking some power to the stock deck, eject it and put the alpine back in. yeah sure, you could do it the easy way with a hammer, but i would preserve the stock deck just incase somethin happens to the alpine and you need to return it, so at least you'll have SOMETHING to listen to during your HU transition....just a thought...
