Default spindle questions

are the 90-91 ex spindles the same length as the 91 si spindles or the same as 90-93 teg ones? the ex shares the same size rotors as the tegs but i am wondering if they are the same length as the 4th gen civics. the reason i am asking is i want to know if it is worth trying to find ex spindles or just use the teg ones so i can use a big brake kit. thanks in advance

I'm sure they are all the same. Don't use Integra knuckles for big brakes, they have different suspension geometry than the Civic does. Use EX Sedan ones if you must, or get a fast brakes big brake kit or something.

Doesn't this sort of contradict itself? I think what he's asking is if the geometry is the same or not.

Can anyone... anyone... take an Si spindle and put it up to an integra spindle and see what the differences are? This gets asked about every 10 seconds, and no one has ever had a definite answer. The people who use integra spindles say they're fine, the people who didn't use them say it is because they are different. Can anyone verify the dimensions of the sprindles?

Well what is a spindle anyway besides just the end of the axel.

I'm assuming he's actually talking about the knuckle... otherwise his question doesn't really make sense.

when i take apart the 91 si that i am picking up for parts, i will compare the hub/spindle/whatever you want to call it. i think the only difference is the length because of the rotor size and therefore caliper mounting is different. (larger rotor means caliper needs to be mounted further out) thanks so far for the input
