I just tuned my car up today after completing the b16a swap 3 months ago. Finally no more code 7 and 23 Car runs really nice, the backfiring after high revs has almost disappeared, and it is just running smoother. However tonight i noticed something (new?) weird. When i am revving out through, seems to be only higher gears like 4th, really slowly, as i approach 4k, the car seems to start hesitating, for like 20 seconds if i keep it at steady throttle, then all of a sudden it "grabs" and continues to rev. This is just really weird, never noticed it before, and it seems odd that it does this now that i have tuned those sensors and did an oil change. Anybody ever experience something like this, or have suggestions what i should check out tomorrow?

Yeah when i dropped the motor in, and yesterday, like 2800 miles later....

I think I'm having the same thing happen you are, if I old the throttle at partial it will sit and be kind of boggy and hesitate until I put a little load on it and then it grabs and pulls hard.

 

I'm not sure if you have the same problem or not but it happen to me, I change out the ecu and problem solved. You might want to borrow an ecu from your friend to test it out....Just my .02.

 

Interesting idea, but i dont know if it would be the ecu. The car has never had this problem before untill i tuned those sensors, so i wondered if it was anything i fuxored up. But now i have no cel's to blame the problem on.
