How much WHP is the stock water/oil pump good for on a B16?

just like the question asks..what is the maximum whp u can have until u need to upgrade your water pump and oil pump?

That is a good question. I think the water pump will be fine but Iwould like know the limit on the oil pump.

guess not....i had a stock oil pump blow apart on my ls/vtec turbo engine about 8500 rpm's. i had an unorthadox crank pully though...i think that is what did me in.

everyone I know runs stock waterpump/oil pump. It is a good idea to replace though if they have alot of miles.

A stock oil pump and water pump are sufficient for 1000hp if the motor is correctly assembled.

my BRAND new oil pump went kapoot... just under 300 hp.... i dunno how/why....... i find out the damage next week. awesome.

How many would you consider too many miles? I have 44,000.

probably a shitty pulley on there...
