where did you get it? how much?

i know mmrusa.com has nice hoods but they say that hood pins are required.

 

they say that they are required for my CF hood but i have been running it without for a long time now. it might be different for fiberglass hoods though. pins arn't much money, hell you could even make em. try ebay for deals on carparts and maybe groupbuycenter.com they have some good deals too sometimes.

 

my car has a pretty decent "sleeper" look to it now and I don't want the hood pins to give anything away

Those are the same connectors that nascar uses and also its the connector that most top draggers use as well. It looks very flimsy but they can with stand a hell of a lot. My brother in-law just installed them onto his hood of his Mustang but he has a complete lift off fiberglass hood so those are the only things that are holding his hood on.
*EDIT* actually looking at them again the one my brother in-law uses are like that except its just that center pin he doesnt have the outer metal like in that pic his are just the screw type thing and the holders are welded underneath.
